WHO ARE WE?
We’re an organic permaculture tropical fruit farm, that welcomes guests and focuses on comfort and wellness. We nurture a happy, healthy earth and systems for growth.
We have a team of 10 people, 4 dogs, 4 chickens, 2 ducks and . We are located in the wider community of Balgue.
Focusing on education, we offer courses to learn about farming, solar power, natural building, and animal care, in collaboration with other renowned names.
ISLA OMETEPE
A GEM OF A DESTINATION
Ometepe island is a UNESCO biosphere reserve. It is made of a pair of volcanoes that are nothing alike — one dormant, one active; fuego y agua.
The island has cloud-forests, rainforests, beaches, a crater lagoon, ancient rock carvings, and hosts many cultural celebrations.
Two types of monkey, rare parrots, and blue morpho butterflies call it home.
It has great restaurants and friendly, rural communities.

NICARAGUA
THE LAND OF LAKES AND VOLCANOES
Nicaraguita is a stunning part of Central America, with jungles and colonial cities, Caribbean islands, and surfing beaches.
She shares much of her flora and fauna with neighboring Costa Rica.
The people are welcoming and hospitable.
The local cuising includes gallo pinto, vigoron, indio viejo, nacatamales and baho.

There are a multitude of easily organizable transport options in Nicaragua. From chicken buses to private drivers, you can easily navigate the country on any budget.
You can rent scooters, motorbikes and ATVs (quads) to get around on the island, or you can bring a car on the ferry or hire a driver. You can also explore much of the local area on foot.
