Each guesthouse possesses its own distinctive charm, contributing to the overall experience. We have implemented a tier system for pricing, taking into account whether you are visiting from overseas solely for the course and the remarkable Ometepe Experience, residing locally and contributing to Nicaragua in some capacity, or a Central American citizen. We recognize the income disparities between countries and Central America, aiming to establish a fairer system that facilitates the spread of permaculture knowledge to those who reside on these very lands, enduring the challenges of such conditions.

We see it as integral to give back to the generous people who have allowed us to utilize their lands for nourishment and living. The lowest prices we offer cover essential expenses such as food, materials, utilities, and accommodation costs within the course fees. Teaching fees are not charged.

You can sign up with friends to make your group or you can specify if you don’t mind sharing with new friends who will also be taking the course. The more that sign up together the cheaper it gets per person.

You’ll be allocated a bed based on your order in booking unless upgrading. The best spots go first!

For Central Americans, residents, and overseas students, the prices start at $750/990/1150 per person when sharing with two others.

If you prefer to have the entire space to yourself, the prices are $985/1300/1770, which include double and single beds, a desk space, an en-suite hot-water shower, and an indoor toilet.

Additionally, we have three Canopy Top Cabins available. These cabins can comfortably accommodate two individuals or suit a solo traveler seeking more space during their permaculture practice on Ometepe.

Prices in the cabin start at $845/1100/1290 pp if sharing and $905/1400/1680 if you want the whole space to yourself for Central American Citizens, Residents and Overseas visitors respectively.

If you appreciate the idea of our cabins but long for the breathtaking views that Ometepe is famous for, we invite you to consider our volcano and lake view cabins. These cabins mirror the design, materials, and airflow of our other cabins but offer an additional wow factor. Situated within a butterfly garden overlooking the lake and volcanoes, these open-concept cabins provide spectacular views and refreshing breezes

These upgrades bring the per-person total to $1200/1200/1520 based on two people sharing, $1400/1500/1780 if a single occupant in the Volcano View Cabin for a Central American, resident, and visitor respectively.

If you really want to benefit from the course and experience but aren’t sure about the jungle environment… or want top treat yourself while broadening your horizons… maybe the Tree-Top Houses are for you?

Nestled high above the ground, these unique accommodations provide a tranquil sanctuary amidst nature's embrace. The Tree-Top Houses offer a distinctive perspective, allowing you to immerse yourself in the course curriculum while enjoying the comforts of a modern retreat. With two floors of luxurious living space, including a queen bed, an en-suite bathroom with a hot-water shower, and a private balcony, these houses epitomize comfort and serenity.

It’s also possible to share the house between three people if the top studio is converted into a bedroom with an extra double futon. The shared bathroom is located in the second-floor bedroom.

During the 15 nights of the course, our Tree-Top Houses are available at a rate of $1500/1500/1280 per person for two individuals sharing, or $1100/1215/1380 for three individuals sharing. Alternatively, if you prefer exclusive use of the entire space, the rate is $3000 for one person.

If you have four people sharing the three-bedroom space, the prices are $1170/13700/1450 pp.
