Kayak on the istian river

Spot caiman, abundant birdlife and turtles whilst admiring the views of Ometepe’s famous two volcanoes on either side of you, all with friendly, bi-lingual guides.

HikE in the cloud-forest

Trail through rainforest, past monkeys and up to the crater lagoon of the Maderas volcano for a quick dip (watch out for the elves!) and astounding views of the island.

San Ramon waterfall

Beautiful San Ramon is approx a 4hr hike on foot or you can halve that time by driving part of the way with a quad or scooter. Hike halfway up Maderas for an impressive finish with a dip underneath the waterfall, the perfect way to refresh.

Visit Ojo de Agua

Relax by the stunning pools, filled with natural spring water. Sun loungers and Coco Locos available.

Birdwatching

Spot some of the unique wildlife in this beautiful UNESCO reserve.

Massage in house

Stay at home at Selvista for the day and enjoy a relaxing and personalised massage from a trained, local professional right on your balcony, especially good if you hiked a volcano the day before!

Head up to the peak of Conception for some spectacular island views and unique flora before getting a whiff of sulphur at the crater.
